Mixed

I normally don't mix patterns, but I thought this worked. Both tops are in the same color pattern, so they do not compete too much.

Peacock

I was in dire need of some new bras, so today I set off to the mall to get some.

Blazer: Lane Bryant. Shirt: Walmart. Jeans: Torrid. Shoes: Fashion Bug.

Loved this shirt as soon as I seen it, cheap to boot! It's a sort of mix between sweat shirt and tee shirt, all I know is I am so glad I found it. These jeans-I'm not really sure about 'em. I am pretty positive they said skinny jeans, but the bottom of the leg fits nothing whatsoever like a skinny, so whatever, they fit well in the waist and butt so I'm good.

While shopping I stopped into Torrid and they had some beautiful dresses; I didn't get any. Tried on 3, one was absolutely horrendous on. The fabric was pretty, but it was SOOOO ill fitting that I didn't even take a picture. The two below were one's I was seriously contemplating getting, but they weren't exactly right.

The dress above is so much prettier in person that in the picture, but it just seems to poofy, baby dollish, maternity type for some reason, I probably should of tried a size down to see if that would of given a different affect.

This dress I really wanted, it's peplum, which I don't own any yet; but, I cannot get down with the exposure of lower gut, if the peplum was an inch or 2 longer it would of been good. It's not as visible in this picture because I am seriously sucking in-lmao! I am kind of wondering what it would look like with some shape wear underneath. I hate wearing shape wear, I feel like I am suffocating, but I may need to invest in a pair of the high tummy shorts and go back for a second look on this dress.

Not fatshion, but fun

This isn't really a fashion post, but just an exhibit we went to tonight. It's called Zoo Lights, which is at Point Defiance Zoo. So much fun. I've worn all the pieces before and wasn't really going for anything fashionable. Except for the cheetah jeans, those are new and my first time wearing them-I am hoping to do a more dressed up look with them soon. Enjoy the pics, and if you are ever in the area from the end of November to January 1st, Zoo Lights is a must.

The antique carousel built in 1917. Only $1 per ride.

Even though I have been to this zoo many times, this was the first time I ever noticed this lover's tub and the mural behind it.

Gorgeous!

This is a light creation of the Narrows Bridge and Mount Rainier.

Ick, I need a better camera.

So cute! There was two of them and they were some rambunctious little shits. Unfortunately the zoo had to just recently put down one of their male Sumatran tigers who was elderly and suffering from kidney disease.

Black Velvet

We went to see the Santa Parade downtown today. It was so packed, but we had fun. Afterwards we went to Fantasy Lights, which is a drive through light display.

Coat: Old Navy. Shirt: Fashion Bug. Velvet Leggings: French Laundry. Shoes: Xhilaration. Necklace: Swarovski elements for Fashion Bug.

This pendant is so awesome. It almost has a pinkish appearance, but picks up whatever color you're wearing and appears to change.

And just because I love peacocks.

Neutral

Jacket, Dress, Leggings, and Boots: Torrid. Belt and Necklace: Fashion Bug. Earrings: Old Navy

This dress is old, I have had it for over a year now; I just bought the boots though. I've been eyeing them online, but as I mentioned many times, I hate buying shoes online without knowing how they will fit first. I went to Torrid yesterday and seen them, tried 'em on, and they are pretty awesome-by the way, Torrid is having a BOGO 50% off. I wore them for hours today and they are comfortable enough. One thing about these boots is that they are SUPER wide calfed, not only is there massive room, but to top it off they also have one of those elastic bands that runs the inside length to add extra width if someone needed it.
I'm really hoping that I can stay home and just sleep in tomorrow, I'm feeling deliriously sleep deprived. My daughter and I have been running nonstop this week. She got her last serious of shots, and unfortunately had an allergic reaction to the chickenpox vaccine-she's doing alright though. But yeah, I think we both need a break.

Burgundy sequins

It has really seemed like a long couple of days. I am so exhausted, and I think you can tell by these last couple of blog posts, my eyes look horrible.

Blazer: Torrid. Sweater: LYS. Pants: Trip NYC. Boots: Lane Bryant. Necklace: Target.

I love her little dress. She was so excited when I had came home with it as a surprise.

Although I like this shirt, I was tempted to return do to the length. I like my shirts to be a bit longer than this, but I obviously decided to keep it. I think I paid around $15 for it. It's funny, after I got home today, I seen Torrid post a picture on Facebook of a woman wearing an almost identical outfit. So just a heads up, if you are interested in a similar shirt, you can get it either at Kmart or Torrid.

Bruised

Today my daughter had a doctor appointment, so that's what we did. She got her last set of shots, at least until she's 13 or something. That was not enjoyable, she screamed and cried. On a good note though, I just registered for my final graduate course! One more class and a comprehensive exam and I will have a grad degree.

Blazer: Beverly Drive. Pants: Tripp NYC-Torrid. Shirt: Faded Glory-Walmart. Shoes:

Picture at the Doc's pre-shots. And I am aware that I put her bow on upside down-oops.

Walmart has a ton of these shirts. Some are color blocked like this one, some have patterns, and others are solid. I was kind of surprised. They are cute and cheap. It has a gold exposed zipper down the back, I should of took a picture of it, but it didn't occur to me.

I got photo bombed by Scrappy!

Royaly Reptiled and Striped Blue

Blazer: Beverly Drive. Shirt: Faded Glory. Purse: Betsey Johnson. Jeans: Lane Bryant. Shoes: Unlisted. Necklace: Walmart

Loving the booties. I have obviously been on a reptile print kick-completely unconsciously at this point, I swear.  These are available in reptile, black, and leopard print.

This is one of those $5 gift necklaces that Walmart brings out in lots of different pendants during Christmas time. Its comes with studs, but I never use them; I would much rather the pendant be bigger   and not include earrings-just my preference though.

I found this blazer at Sears on Thanksgiving night, I guess what is being called Gray Thursday? IDK.  It's normally $44, but is on sale for $19.99. Pretty good deal if you ask me. Quality wise it is almost identical to that of Torrid blazers. I was pretty thrilled. I bought two of them, but I am kind of thinking of going back and getting two more, maybe, we'll see. They had them in blue, purple, black, red, a dark pink, and a light teal. I would be interested in acquiring the last two colors. I would recommend sizing down however. These blazer will say size 24/26, 20/22, etc. I had grabbed my normal size, tried it on and realized I needed to downsize. I walked back & got another one and proceeded to pay. When I got home I realized I replaced it with one that was the same damn size! I ended up having to make a trip back to the mall to exchange it-I was practically drowning in my normal size- along with a shoddy ass sweater that I realized the seam was completely unraveled when I got home.

Lastly this bag. Super cute, but not super quality. I got it from TJ Max for $20, which is alright. I certainly would never pay the listed price for a Betsey Johnson or Betseyville bag. They are cute and trendy, but the quality of any I have ever owned is less than spectacular.
